I found Acts2Fellowship during Dawg Daze of my freshman year at UW. It was amid the COVID-19 pandemic, so I was lonely and actively looking for new friends. They hosted a virtual escape room event that I attended, and it was a lot of fun. I went to a few more events and really enjoyed being with the people at A2F. I grew up going to church, but something about this group felt different. They made me feel so welcomed and cared for that I did not want to leave. Now, having been a part of the group for two years, I can confidently say that I was extremely blessed to find this community. They have helped me take my faith seriously by teaching me how to live my life for God and to share the Gospel with others. What has made me stay with this church is seeing how everyone shares each other’s burdens and builds one another up with encouragement. I have certainly grown as a person since joining A2F. I came into college thinking that my career is where I will find happiness, but now I realize that loving others and building relationships with people is what truly makes for a happy life.
